I plan to give it a full two week trail. I wish I had run the other programs first. For the rest of the trail period I plan to run CounterSpy last to see if really worth adding.

Thanks for your input. I have been playing around with a lot of different security set ups over the past few weeks trying to find a balance that gets the job done without overkill. I had one on my system that I absolutely hated. Speaking of false positives, it took all the fun out of being online.

I am sure you notice that the CounterSpy allows you to permanently ignore the false positive in the future. Coming from the Healthcare field, I prefer false positives to false negatives. I just think of it as training the program as long as there aren't too many.

I have been having problems for the past 3 or 4 weeks of internet explorer and outlook express crashing. Foxfire ran just fine. Since I ran CounterSpy, I haven't had a single crash of either. I have my fingers crossed. I am thinking it may have had something to do with the key loggers that I removed.

Does anyone have a program recommendation for controlling spam in outlook express? I have been thinking about switching to Thunderbird. Is it worth the hassle?
