As awful as 9/11/01 was, the fact is an American is very very unlikely to die from a rare terrorist incident. An American is far far more likely to die from: military service, preventable car accidents, badly filled perscriptions, random crime, etc. To save lives, our priorities are misplaced, that's what the statistics tell us. But saving lives really isn't the motivation of our government, profits and control of the masses are the real motivators, so we focus on War against a people who never attacked us.

That's right. And of course, all these neocon hawks can talk about is 9/11. They don't want to here about how Reagan/Bush I sold/gave Saddam weaponry and components for WMD in his war with Iran. They don't want to hear how Saddam attacked Iran and killed hundreds of thousands of Iranians while Reagan had our navy patrol the Persian Gulf, sink Iranian ships and placed an embargo on Iran itself. And those are only two countries in the ME. Because we need the oil so badly, we've been butting our nose in ME affairs since WW II, much to the disadvantage of Muslims, and yahoos can't understand why the Muslims hate us.

And now Americans are dying left and right over there, a war that's costing us billions to fight.......meanwhile Bush is busy bike riding and playing frisbee. He doesn't have any time to think about the war.

Yesterday, there were signs up on highway overpasses near where I live:

Bush, talk to Cindy!

Ole Bush is going to be sorry he ever heard the name of Cindy Sheehan. <g>
