That is fantastic! We've traced our people back to the 16th century in and about the wetlands of the "wash" area--farmers. My grandfather came to Canada as a farmer; and my dad was a farmer. When I think of England I always think of "Mayor of Casterbridge" or "Tess" (Hardy novels). The reason I have never been is selfishness, I guess. We get a lot of miserable weather and England (apparently) gets a lot of miserable weather, too! Wonderful that you were able to experience your history like that...
