Here is a partial list of open development projects. There are about an equal number of backend projects that are not listed here. Bob - All GF/Life users the option to display ads in selected areas of message boards. - Add MarkLastRead to read_msgs.aspx - Create a "draft" folder and functionality for unposted messages. - Add expiration date/routine to subject Bans - Add expiration date/routine to suspensions - Fix various errors thrown by Advanced Search. - Many, many message parsing "opportunities" in Preview and Read Message. (Start with support for #reply and #subject (and @reply/@subject? for iHub links to iHub messages) - Implement Ignore to subject.aspx - Implement Ignore in readmsgs.aspx - Add global Ignore toggle on appropriate pages. - User setting to determine if Ignore means completely ignore the message or show that there is an ignored message - Extend User Interface/CSS publishing CSS templates. - Subject.aspx: Need link to view header revisions. - And add another cell called 'Hot' to the navigation menu ...instead of just via the homepage. - Add a link to messages that will bring up a quote window for the thread's symbol. Dave - Redesign Profile.aspx. Add icons/avitars indicating userleel. Move user fields to separate table so Search Profiles can be reimplemented. Figure out why some profiles have "company" populated with something there user did no input. Summary of most-posted-to threads with drill-down. Counter of threads moderated with drill-down. Decide which features will be available to each user levels. - Fix FAQ search - Implement public for showing system issues/status - Create app to let users guess date & time of milestone grubs for the Community page. (With prizes) - Finish consolidating subjects in forumid > 99 to < 100 - Add metrics to msgboardmain.aspx (num threads, etc.) - Add feature to click on the column headings on subjectmarks page that would let users select sort. Add default to Interface options. - Provide a "file" button from each message while in batch mode Unassigned - PremPlus feature: Place 4 counters in Profile showing how many public/private posts to/from the inquiring user and the profiled user, with a drill down for detail. Shouldn't be too much overhead since they will be fetched individually, and only by premium users. Non-Prem users could have the same functionality limited to the contents of the current Search tables. - User: Fix bad (duplicate and skips) intra-thread sequences (read-next breaks at tha point) - Add logic to build/review/maintain table of common spellcheck hits for possible exclusion - Provide a "file" button from each message while in batch mode
