Right after penning this I listened at Mr. Phil Grandies wednesday archive - he said fannie mae is doomed - the reason is because clinton put all his 100K friends into that entity so they could walk away with 50 million that they stole - so already I see they are trying to stick this one on the donkeys - HAHA!

He is convinced pimco is working with the FED and offshore cayman offices to keep buying the government securities because china stopped 8 months back. Some folks at the pkarchive say they use Bill Gross as the best contrarian indicator of what to do - hehe.

I think career politicians do want to protect thier rich banking friends over the citizen - I agree with you on that one and Mr. Grandie has said this many times also - but I don't think he will help his friend at the bank to the point where it costs him all his political power for the next 3 decades. What you foresee would cause this I think. If they allowed 1.4mil to go to 700K in a quick drop - their political careers are OVER. I have not looked at japanese politics from 18 years ago - what was the poor voters response to his government sticking it to him over there?

My redneck friends who voted in bush have now become very very BITTER and promise me that if he lets things go to shit like you say and sticks them hard with the bankruptcy reform - they will go back to voting democrat no matter who is in the party. I am certain there are career elephants who are aware of this - so you want me to believe they are going to trade the next 3 decades of thier career and offices of power and hand that over to donkeys so they can get some cash payouts from thier banking overlords?

Mish I know people that do things for more than green paper - the status and respect of office maybe means more to some carrer elephants than big payouts - I know a lot of rich men that wanted to buy monica lewinsky's oral services - but she is not for sale to money - walk up with your secret service staff and be a celebrity on the news and she will get on her knees however. Many times my indian friend - his last name is bush - got lots of the stinky hole that I could not buy for hundreds of thousands. They believed he was a nephew of the president, I was just some fool with green paper.

Now if I was a type that wanted oral services - am I to work towards a goal of accumulating green paper that monica thinks is a joke - or accumulating fame and power in political office? Perhaps those guys in Japan didn't like oral services so much and didn't care about retaining political control, but from what I have seen here in the states - its still a thing to work towards.
