I thought the stock started dropping yesterday well before the presentation at the Salomon conference. It seemed to me that the announcement yesterday was a calculated release by the company management to manage expectations. Not just some nervous mistake from a flustered CFO.

Would you rather wait until quarterly results to hear about their not exceeding their analysts expectations for earnings? In any event at whatever time they released this info yesterday, at least they came forward and didn't try to hide anything.

I guess the bottom line is that things just aren't as rosy at TLAB as we all might have hoped. I for one was hoping for a knock out quarter. I guess we will just have to settle for good solid results. Aside from the hit to stock price, I don't see this company struggling with any fundamental problems.
