Even the Potemkin Village idea of having Sheehan arrested so as not to disturb the fragile mental state of the Emperor and his Consort says enough about the Republican party.

I remember a photo of Clinton at what I think was a memorial service for Oklahoma City. He had one arm around a woman who had obviously lost someone there. It looked perfectly warm and natural. Whatever Clinton's faults, he did appear to be genuinely sad and sympathetic.

I cannot imagine Bush doing anything of the sort. I can see Bush kicking up dust into Sheehan's face and cackling about it to Condie.
