And now they want to go after Iran.

I'll tell you what. If we go on a full scale invasion of Iran and try to occupy it, then this country is through. Then we'll know for sure that madmen are in fact running this country for ulterior motives like feeding the military industrial complex, or have become so drunken with power that they don't know reasonable limits.

I will support a limited air campaign against Iran if it helps reduce the nuclear threat. That is a reasonable, although risky, policy to pursue in our national interest.

I find the scenario described in an obscure website today that the NeoCons are contemplating taking over one province in Iran that is near the Iraqi border to be compelling. We know the NeoCons use our military like a private protection service for oil, going into Iran's oil producing province would be just what you'd expect from them.

We shall see. It does seem like the drumbeat for war with Iran is growing louder.
