We want to go back and rent an apartment. My husband is going to Scotland in Sept and Oct, and I guess there is the possibility we may move back there. So if that happens, we could see a lot more of London really soon :-) The trains were excellent, just as the other poster said. It was a lovely way to see the country. We took trains everywhere. When my daughter did her work study in Beauly (as part of her academy education), she took the train from Inverness every day to her new "job". Interestingly enough the schools reimburse you for any public travel you need to take in the course of your work study. We took the train to Edinburgh, and all the way to England- from our place in Inverness. I have nothing but positive comments on the train service.

They have old steam trains you can ride too. We saw lots of trainspotters as we road the trains.
