Becoming interested in what is happening in Ireland with regards to fish. This story is odd if nothing else. breakingnews.iol.ie Up to 4,000 trout dead in River Inny fish kill 11/08/2005 - 14:43:46 Up to 4,000 trout are believed to have been killed on the River Inny between Oldcastle in Co Meath and Lough Sheelin in Co Cavan. The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board has now launched an operation to remove fish from another section of the river before they are affected. The board said it had identified the cause of the kill, but did not disclose what it was.
