>> ...perverting the Sabbath to Sunday when it did used to be Saturday. That's not a Jewish tradition. That goes all the way back to creation. But I am not ready to convert! <<

the true Church of Christ, the Orthodox Catholic Church, does not refer to sunday as the "christian sabbath". the fathers of the Church refer to sunday as the Lord's day, while maintaining that the seventh day--saturday--is called the sabbath.

these same Church fathers who have no problem calling the seventh day the sabbath, in no uncertain terms, in accordance with tradition and with the binding Church councils, explicitly forbid Christians from observing the sabbath in a carnal fashion as do the jews.

SDA's don't just want saturday to be called the sabbath, they want to judaize and impose saturday worship and rest in a carnal manner on their followers. they seek to forbid Christians from gathering on the Lord's day to worship as the Church instructs.

this is total nonsense and preaching of antichrist, who will impose carnal sabbath observance.

the scriptures are clear...

the Church and her disciples gathered on the first day of the week.

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. --John 20:19

the Holy Spirit descended in cloven tongues of fire and sat upon the apostles on sunday--the Lord's day.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. --Acts 2:1-3

the holy apostle Peter gave a rousing sermon that saved 3,000 souls on the Lord's day (Pentecost). nowhere in acts chapter two does it say it was the first day of the week or the Lord's day. so how do we know that pentecost was on a sunday, the first day of the week? pentecost always comes after seven weeks of sabbaths, or 49 days. the following day (i.e. the 50th) had to be a sunday if it followed the sabbath.

once again we see the disciples breaking bread on the first day of the week...and St. Paul preaching on that day...

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. --Acts 20:7

so many of the important events in the early Church, from our Savior's resurrection (the reason the Church worships on the Lord's day), to pentecost, to St. Peters sermon, to the breaking of bread and Christ coming to stand in the midst holy apostles, breathing on them and telling them to receive the Holy Ghost--all these took place on the Lord's day, that day that the seventh day adventist preachers of antichrist say is the mark of the beast! (or some other nonsense).

i bid you, give no heed to these false apostles!
