It is old news. AVTC and Microsoft have been collaborating for over a year as part of AVTC's strategy to create products for the NT market. Reading the article you posted gives the impression that the relationship is closer than I believe it actually is.

However talking to the analyst at Ragen MacKenzie, he estimates that the firm should see significant growth in its voice messaging division which was actually flat last year. (All the growth last year was credited to the RightFAX subsidiary.)
