oil industry was pushed into vz because of environmental controls and also latest clinton adm .. if something breaks in order to repair it you had to fix the whole facility. if you wanted to upgrade a process you had to bring all processes up to current standards via epa. this made any maintenance/improvements of refineries unprofitable.

so they built refineries in vz , drilled for oil refined processes there and then shipped to states for more refining.

now you got a nut down there taking over the whole operation.

oil is now $66 barrel how much longer or how many more winters do we need to see our heating costs double , and double while we have gas sitting off our coast line? These congressmen should be voted out. imo we may be able to get these fields into production to help while we build storage/distribution facilities to import gas.
