high prices... take care of high prices. tell it to the guy next door who paid $400 electric bill last month and may end up paying $600 this month.

I have cut way back on air conditioning and heat to point i cannot cut back any further due to sick wife. i expect my electric bill will be well over $300 this month and we have next several days with high humidity and mid ninety temps that will run it over $400 next month.

in winter i turned down thermostat to 68 during day and 62 at night , i cannot go any longer as wife body temp will drop. we already wear heavy sweaters.

Now tell me about high prices ... take care of high prices.

or do they stay higher than average if top income make more money while lower income doesn't grow as fast and yet the high income people can continue at will to consume heating oil, gasoline, electric.

I wonder if Greenspan can handle the economy, he seems to be in his own world worrying about his legacy. Congressmen are in their own world worry about the next election.

you are correct, price controls demand and supply ,, the other alternative was open up more supply sitting off west coast , east coast and gulf. Then let's get the brain trusts to figure out alternative fuels etc.
