LOUIS, Mo., Sept 10 (Reuter) - LaBarge Inc said Wednesday it has been awarded a multi-year contract valued at $16.3 million to produce high temperature cable assemblies for use in aircraft engines. The contract was awarded by GE Aircraft Engines in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is a unit of General Electric Co (GE). The cable assemblies will be used on military and commerical aircraft and helicopter engines built by GE Aircraft. LaBarge will make the cables at its Joplin, Mo. facility.
