My views might be colored by my own opinion. But I'd agree that the nation is sick of far right politics and also by past results totally rejects the far left with it's socialized medicine and so forth. McCain actually looks very good right now. He's been around a long time, has moderate views and also military service that can't be questioned. The Dems have to give up liberal politics period or continue to die. It's so obvious that the Republicans manipulate the Democratic nomination process to assure a liberal candidate who has no chance of winning the presidency is the winner of the primaries. Who was that Dem candidate who the press totally destroyed in the primaries. He was actually the best candidate. But the corporate press which is largely going to go for the money party, the Republicans, destroyed him in favor of the non starter liberal Kerry who had the least chance of winning. Kerry only did as well as he did because of how repugnant Bush is to so many Americans. The nation did not want Bush for 4 more years. They got him because of superior campaigning and dirty tricks by the Republicans.
