fox news is talking about Al Q. hijacking gasoline trucks in area of la, nyc, wash dc, chicago. woman says how would they hijack truck on highway. it would be impossible.

I remember in 82 when i arrived on west coast we experience several tankers hijacked. One guy was tied up in remote terminal used for truck loadings. the terminal is all automatic not attend by anyone. someone found the guy in the morning when they came by to load their tanker. i forget the other times what happen. again the first day on the job in prov r.i. in 72 we had someone hijack a spare tanker at night , load it at the rack and actually make a delivery and return the vehicle. I had a terrific accountant who was waiting for me when i arrived the next morning sitting in my office. he tells me a load of gas is missing, skip in rack meters and tells me a truck that moved 16 miles because he kept the mileage on all trucks each day. I called the dispatcher in and asked who was certified check or cash only and should have ordered gas by now. dispatcher gives me a dealer name. i tell him to go stick his tanks. what?? what do i say?? tell him you are checking tanks for water we got some complaints. he called an hour later saying the covers are covered with gas , tanks full. dealer screaming doesn't know where it came from and our marketing representative who is here says its our problem he is not collecting for it. g

So we stay up for the next 35 hours trying to figure out who, how, why, and finally get a confession. our nyc security came in and took over (ex fbi) they leave me in hotel room with dealer who pulls a gun on me. while the ex fbi leaves in a hurry. nice guy huh? dealer says i am only carrying this for protection. dispatcher leads us to driver who hangs out the station all the time. our best driver, and at the end he caves in. my first day on the job as terminal supv. ...
I laughed ,,, how do you hijack a tanker. gggg
