Thomas; Good commentary!. The niche for the NC machine will be at the very bottom end for home uses with a TV or cheap LCD screen, with minimal OS , memory and 0 hard drives, so they can be accessories to the home system for kids etc to browse the web. With a network connection they can use distributed resources like cable modem, printer, network/cable cache etc. There is also an office niche, somewhat similar with a limited repertoire of uses for less money.
