Well, to put it into perspective, I would argue that Communism was a worse threat, but we did not use the US military to hunt for Communists in the US during the Cold War.

You may disagree.

One of the things that makes me very frustrated in having these conversations is that I know, from experience, that once a Democrat is elected, a large percentage of Republicans will have a sea change in their attitudes, and vice versa, but for some reason, are completely incapable of recognizing that in advance.

If you are capable of recognizing that there are powers you would rather not give to Hillary, then don't give them to Bush.
