I was less inclined to support the wot at the beginning. It's taken me a long time to look at the different sides. Having looked at the way the terrorists and terror based governments violated every aspect of decency against their own people, not to mention their aggression against innocent people in the US, Britain, Egypt, and Spain, I view our assistance to the Iraq government as an absolute necessity. 90% of the people being victimized by the terrorists are innocent Muslim people. The other 10 % are US and British soldiers trying to support the Iraqi government.

People can buy the argument that Bush created the terrorists by standing up to their crimes. I accept the opposite reality is that the terrorists were trained long in advance. Now, we have Muslim governments beginning to hunt down the terrorists. 5 years ago, they were sponsoring the terrorists. Still, it is amazing how much freedom these extremists have in such a repressed society.

I think there are two camps of terrorism in the ME. There are the salafi extremists acting like the mind police over innocent Muslims and outsiders that get in the way. Alternatively, you have the Palestinian terrorists that attack Israel to get their land back. The first group is crazy and out of control. I won't try to defend or attack the Palestinian issue since the whole thing is on the verge of a major breakthrough. As a whole, Islamic complaints against Israel and the US will be silenced once the occupied territories are restored to Palestinian control and the peace talks can continue to the next level.
