How do you know God isn't a woman? Or an "it"? Or a "they"? Or a dimension far beyond the end of time which none of can even begin to remotely understand? What if our whole galaxy is just an atom inside another infinity of universes?

Point is, God is the unknown not the known. And God is not politically motivated nor intrusive. If he/she/it were, he'd have stopped Bush from cheating in Florida, he'd have stopped 9-11, he'd have stopped Hitler and he'd make sure every dictator in the world has a fatal accident.

We have no idea what God is. God is just a word basically representing the ultimate mystery. Jesus Christ may or may not have been remotely similar to what we read in the Bible, but his message is very cool. The #1 message of Christ is love thy neighybor as thyself and forsake riches and help the poor. Also, love thy God, but then again we get back to the unknown. His message is not to divide nations and scapegoat people you don't agree with. It's also not to start wars and steal from people at the gas pump.

Bush's policies are pro-rich, pro-war, anti-poor, anti-peace, anti-nature, anti-unity plus he has lied, stolen and cheated. Therefore, I see no correlation between Jesus or God and the rightwing political movement in the US. None at all. Most of them are just hypocrites out for power and riches.
