You can live cheap here if you know what you are doing. I lucked out on my studio apartment. It's very small but right on the beach. $700 w/air inc. No car, just a moped. That is a HUGE savings. I don't eat out much. I can live on a budget of $1,500 a month with no problem if I want to.
