Working with this also led me to another extension, TextZoom

I was unaware of that one. Just installed it. Thanks, that's a big improvement.

I was hoping to hear from you on this request. I dimly recall you offered some Firefox printing suggestions that worked for you.

At the moment, the best I have is the one Jochen found, in which I need to check Print Preview and make adjustments before I do any Firefox printing to my wife's computer. Then readjust.

One of the frustrating things is that it's different with different sites. The Josh Marshall and Steve Clemons' sites print the smallest; financial tables from TIAA-CREF and Vanguard print just fine; pdf files, of course, print just fine.

On all these scores, IE prints just fine. But I prefer using FireFox. It's a little like the early Macintosh years in which innovative, wonderful word processors would come on the market but since Microsoft Word was the one everyone else used, I constantly found myself having to drop the best for the barely workable. I don't wish to do it again.

Do you have any different/better solution?
