National Service Provider GoodNet Selects Newbridge Networks For
Multi-Million Dollar Internet Network

GoodNet upgrades and expands high-speed ATM backbone with MainStreetXpress 36170
Multiservices Switch

HERNDON, Virginia, Sept. 10 /CNW-PRN/ - GoodNet, an Internet Service Provider with National Service Provider (NSP)
status, has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Newbridge Networks, a global market leader in wide area network
(WAN) asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) equipment. GoodNet will deploy the Siemens / Newbridge
MainStreetXpress(TM) 36170 Multiservices Switch and the MainStreetXpress 46020 Network Manager to expand and
upgrade its nationwide ATM Internet backbone. GoodNet's rapidly expanding network now extends to over 24 American
cities, providing fast, reliable Internet connectivity for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and businesses.

``We have been building a network that can scale to accommodate the needs of any client and we believe we can best
accomplish this with managed ATM networks from Newbridge Networks,'' said David Jemmet, Chief Executive Officer,
GoodNet. ``The MainStreetXpress 36170 ATM switch is extremely scalable, and, because it's a multiservice platform, it
opens up more options for future service offerings. Additionally, the MainStreetXpress 46020 Network Manager provides a
strong set of management capabilities.''

The ATM solution from Newbridge Networks enables GoodNet to enhance and expand the wide range of Internet services it
offers, including public dial-up access, dedicated connections for organizations and municipalities of all sizes, complete World
Wide Web solutions, and Internet backbone connection for local ISPs. GoodNet engineers chose ATM for delivery of
Internet Protocol (IP) traffic because of its inherent reliability and its ability to adapt bandwidth usage for maximum efficiency.

``GoodNet's philosophy is very closely aligned with the Newbridge philosophy that an ATM core is essential in delivering the
fastest and most reliable service possible,'' said Mike Pascoe, President, Newbridge Networks, Inc. ``We look forward to
working with GoodNet as it rapidly expands its network.''

After extensive competitive trials, GoodNet selected the MainStreetXpress products based on superior scalability and
network management capabilities. The MainStreetXpress 36170 Multiservices Switch offers scalability for more flexible and
economical network deployment. The MainStreetXpress 36170 Multiservices Switch, which has been selected by more than
120 telecommunications service providers throughout the world, supports frame relay, broadband internetworking, native cell
relay permanent virtual circuits (PVC), switched virtual circuits (SVC), private line, wireless broadband and other advanced
services.

The MainStreetXpress 46020 Network Manager provides an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) to configure networks,
manage links and paths, and monitor network operations from a central location. The system architecture provides an
innovative approach for simplifying management of today's multi-technology networks.

Designated as an NSP, GoodNet has secured peering arrangements with the other major NSPs which enables the seamless
exchange of data between GoodNet customers and the Internet community at large at both national access and private peering
points. GoodNet, a Tier-1 Internet Service Provider, makes high-speed Internet communication possible for millions of
American businesses and individuals. One of the top 10 National Service Providers (NSP) in the United States, GoodNet is a
``wholesaler'' of dedicated high-speed Internet connectivity to businesses nationwide. The company has points-of-presence in
most major metropolitan areas and has secured peering agreements with other NSPs in the United States and with network
providers in Europe and Asia.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, GoodNet is a subsidiary of Telesoft Corp. (NASDAQ:TSFT), which designs, distributes, installs,
and manages telecommunications systems comprised of integrated hardware and proprietary software for the automated
provision of long distance telephone billing and other telecommunications services to educational institutions, corporations and

product lines under the MainStreetXpress brand and assembled the industry's most extensive ATM research and development
operation - more than 1,500 engineers in five countries. In North America, Siemens Public Communication Networks Group
is represented by Siemens Stromberg-Carlson in Boca Raton, Florida.

Newbridge Networks (http://www.newbridge.com) is a global leader in ATM, frame relay and time division multiplexing
