I think we will have to wait until the conference call to really find out what is going on. We still need to know the current expense structure and costs releated to CCC. The fact that the cash burn rate was neutral is positive considering the disappointing level of revenues.

As Scott said, A/R has always been a big issue. Now lower levels of A/R may start to get analysts attention. Lets see what becomes the issue now. Hope its not revenue!

As for the management addition, having a former Dell Commercial Sales Director is reassuring if not anything else. His corporate contact list must be extensive. At least those doors will be accessible.

It's quite obvious that the shipment of 300,000 copies of WP8 at the end of Q2 was more than the resellers could push out. What is also clear is that WP8 sales are strong (according to PC Data and SoftTrends). What is not clear is how much excess inventory the channel is holding. The conference call should shed some light on this.

As for the price shock of this morning, take away the price moves of the last two days and you are left with a 5% correction.

Perhaps the analysts are still evaluating the impact of this disclosure and have yet to respond. If that's the case, this may be the calm before the storm, or everything has been so discounted that nothing short of Corel closing its doors will shake investors in for the long run.

This stock is not for the short-term speculator.
