Why did Bush ignore the 8-6-01 memo? Can Limbaugh explain that? That memo clearly warned that OBL was determined to attack inside the US soon possibly using hijackings. So what did Bush do about it? Nothing. Zilch. Zero.

Whatever happened during Clinton's years, at least CLinton tried numerous times to kill Osama (300 cruise missiles to Bush's zero), and they also stopped the Milennium LAX bombing by being vigilant.

Prior to 9-11, Bush and all his top people were completely AWOl on counter-terrorism and seemed to be trying to protect the Saudis from any investigations or surveillance. They might easily have stopped 9-11 by simply picking up the phone on 8-6 and alerting the FAA and FBI. Two phonecalls. Maybe even one could have stopped 9-11. But Bush was too busy clearing brush in Crawford on the longest presidential vacation in history.
