Iran has the right to have nuclear weapons. North Korea was able to thwart an invasion because it had nukes. Iraq had nothing and so was run over by a rogue regime. Iran would rather be armed than run over. Look at India and Pakistan now. Once Pakistan got nukes, the much stronger India had no choice but to negotiate. So things are a lot better now. There is a lot less tension in the subcontinent. There were some crazy Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson types on both sides. Now, they have been told to shut up. There is going to be a natural gas pipeline from Iran to India via Pakistan. Every one of the three nations benefits from that.
