The rightwing are indeed dangerous, as are the oil companies and other big corporate interests, plus the political fundamentalists who want to take over our government and see this as their only chance before they are forced back to where they came from. We need to have faith in our founding father's vision now. Checks and balances. No men above the law. Fair and honest democratic voting. Freedom of religion including freedom to not listen to anyone else's religion. And the rights of consumers, workers and taxpayers not to be ripped off.
