Taro, do you know why this is? My friends say it's because the socialist state is so strong, it has essentially replaced the family unit. I was surprised the figure is more than half. That's not true. Families are as strong in Europe as they are here......maybe stronger. Europeans tend not to live as far from their families as we do. In addition, Europeans don't always marry when they first get pregnant.......esp. Scandinavians. Think less conservative than Americans. ted
