I bet you are going to be terribly disappointed when the Iraqi's present their Constitution next week. There apparently are a couple of hangups. Federation--this one I dont quite understand. To me Federation is merely having states like we have in USA, Central Govt. still rules so I dont understand why the Sunni's seem to feel it will lead to break up of the country. Religious inclusion in the Constitution--This one seems to be a tougher nut to crack, but, so long as it doesnt mean sacrifice of some peoples rights I would think they would find a way to compromise. From everything I have read this appears to be the only holdups. There is a chance the constition will be postponed but I think there is a better chance MOST of the constitution will go through with an election down the road to settle the two points above. jdn
