Choban,

Sorry for some of my previous sarcasm, but I had just finished reading a mountain of posts about, and by, someone named "Pulvia" who is apparently doing his best to trash PLSIA...undoubtedly for his own selfish reasons. I do not wish to enter the fray with all the half-witted, candy-assed, whimpering supporters of Mr. "Pulvia", but as an investor I resent ANYONE who either distorts the facts or otherwise presents misinformation designed to frighten the public about any particular company. The company...in this case PLSIA...stands to be severely injured by such guerilla tactics, as do existing shareholders. Personally, I applaud the bounty for "Pulvia's" identity and I hope he is severely punished for his tactics.

Lest I be torched as a barbarian who opposes free speech, I can only say that I do not believe our forefathers intended "free speech" to include the right to injure others by misrepresenting facts. SI is a superb, open forum from which we can all make better investment decisions by using the synergy of collective research and differing opinions. To be a cheerleader for a particular company, or an opponent of that company, is fine so long as we all do so in a spirit of ethics and honesty. But to deliberately mislead our fellow investors for personal benefit is another matter. On that issue I am an admitted barbarian and anyone who deliberately attempts to mislead me, deserves to be neutered. Sorry for the diatribe.

Then I read your previous post, and thought sonofabi---, here's another one. If I misjudged, then please accept this apology. If not and if you are just another "Pulvia" trying to frighten investors so you can cover a short position, then my blood pressure rises again.

To the true matter at hand, there is no point debating Potomac, MD. versus Beverly Hills, CA. I understand your point. I don't have time to dig out archived articles regarding Premier Laser, but I can tell you that as I recall, the company makes a variety of laser tools for the dental profession. I did not invest on the promise of tools for whitening teeth. IMHO, the real flagship for PLSIA is the Centauri machine, a recently approved laser device which is used for doing the cavity drilling work. I believe the Centauri can perform such operations painlessly (no novacaine required) and far more precisely than existing tools. From the layman's point of view and from someone who has long felt that traditional dental tools are archaic (sort of pick and shovel-ish), this seems to be a revolutionary development. And I think the cost is about $39,000 (not sure about that one). The market potential is enormous, particularly since PLSIA seems to be first out of the box. If my $39K guesstimate is in the ballpark, that does not seem to be a prohibitive cost for most dentists, given existing schedules of fees.

My investment logic is simple. The first dentist in my area who begins to use the Centauri is going to become my family dentist and the provider of choice for my company's benefit plan, assuming that other costs are comparable. I know no one who doesn't dread the dentist's chair to one degree or another. Any company who can make the experience less intimidating is bound to succeed.
