Ken

As I have said, I buy the kit at Costco for ~$16. Each refill kit contains the manual which explains all thats needed. Again, each cartridge can/is manufactured a bit different. The 45/46/47 HP cartridges have holes in the top of cartridge which are covered by the manufacturers label.

Believe if you reread prior post it should cover all your questions, it also included the website, street address and toll free number for this refill kit manufacturer .. not sure what more there is to say about purchasing.

Now if you give me your cartridge PN, I could attempt to determine the delta between it on the ones used by my 1210 (C8727A, C8728A, C6656A, C6657A, C6658A). The later three PNs are also used by HP Photosmart 5550, 7150, 7350 & 7550.

However I would assume if your 1210 BW cartridge has a small cap to refill then the color one will follow that same design. Attempt to remove them same as you do for your BW cartridge and see what happens.
