Do you frankly believe this would be the case with Iran? I mean, isn't this exactly what the Europeans have been working hard to do for a year now??
Thinking exactly like you do and putting together a package which in their opinion no truly peace loving nation could ever decline, right?


I don't recall any European progress on disarming Israel's Nukes. It was simply a bunch of carrots for Iran to stop making progress themselves. I'd rather see Pakistan & Israel lose their Nukes than Iran join the club. But assuming Pakistan & Israel don't lose their Nukes, I assume that Iran (and eventually S.A.) will acquire them.

I can't predict what Bush will do. A bombing strike which you seem to think is inevitable would have very unfortunate fallout I suspect, so I'm less sure that will happen.
