Software is the last group of labor intensive jobs that have been shipped offshore leaving the US with "the most productive workforce in the world" (because all we have are a bunch of managers who are counted as if they actually produce the stuff). Steven Roach was the only economist that seemed to "get" what was going on early. Now they all do but he was the only one initially. I can still remember Larry Kudlow coming on CNBC with his pom poms after the 8% GDP figure a few years ago.. then the next week the jobs creation numbers came out and we were down 100K, it was obvious he was totally oblivious to what was happening. doh.
