This would make government planning much better, no more mysteries, it would create a better society no? The rising smooth tide would lift all boats and not tip any over with violent freak waves or sink them with whirlpools eh?


No, the exogenous news would still cause spikes and jumps in the market and less smoothly than now. And the waves would disappear.

It would be nice to move to Oregon (or Washington, or LA or wherever) But in the last 5 years of job search this is the only job I was offered (after the first two years). I am now tenured. So I could stay if I wanted....
