AAPL... Updated chart, showing convincing (extent and volume) breakout of the large triangle pattern formed since Feb....(by far, the largest such pattern formed in the uptrend from mid 2003..) Measured target this breakout as high as 60..... As I have noted in other recent posts, some question can be raised about the nature and extent of this triangle. One way of looking at the triangle would place the breakout in July....The measured target on that basis would be 49. FWIW My own view, at this time, is that the first, larger, triangle is the correct formulation.....The enclosed chart is based on that approach..... home.twcny.rr.com
