if gold confirm the break out and move above December 2004 high, then we shoudl move towards $500 and the producers of all kind and soon-to-be will pretty much be in the game.

personally, that's what I expect. reading doug noland this weekend gives me more confidence in that then I've had in a long time. our economy is about to hit the wall. there is all kinds of anecdotal evidence that housing is rolling over, and when that happens just about everything is going to head down the sh*tter.

I am fully positioned for that to happen with a mix of producers and explorers. of course, I could be wrong, in which case I'll suffer a drawdown. but it doesn't matter. we are a lot closer to the next cyclical bull than we were 18 months ago.
