Our founding fathers used the Bible's code of morals when they penned our Constitution. These spiritual principles are what has brought so many blessings to our country. Anyone, anywhere that abides by these principles will find themselves blessed. We are gentiles reconciled with God in our belief in Christ (the anointed one) Jesus. Our country has been the most successful in living by the principles...it's that simple. If we deviate too far left of the principles then we will perish...this goes for an individual as well. We are the salt(preservative) and the light(making those that love the dark uncomfortable). If, as you say, we have lost our salt and our light then the terrorists are correct - that God wants us dead. This is the message I am hearing from you. The fruits of the spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Where is the Joy on this thread? How can I call myself Christian when I am transmitting Hate for our own government and a total disregard for the invisible hand of God in the blessing of our great nation. Oh, I know, give nature the credit for protecting us by her mighty seas.
