. But assuming Pakistan & Israel don't lose their Nukes, I assume that Iran (and eventually S.A.) will acquire them.

If this is the case, then the necessary next step is to eliminate the Iranian and SA regimes before they acquire nukes. Don't you agree its in the best interests of the planet to not allow authoritarian dictatorial governments which are unpopular with their own population to acquire nuclear weapons?

If you view SA's and Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons as inevitable, then the removal of SA's and Iran's regimes is the proper step. I think GB has said as much - the quote goes something like "we will not allow Iran to have nuclear weaponry". I interpret that along the lines of either 1)grandstanding, or, 2)if Iran ever detonates a nuclear weapon, the country's regime will be forcibly removed from the planet. #2 may happen even if they refuse to give up the objective of possession of nuclear weaponry.

A bombing strike which you seem to think is inevitable would have very unfortunate fallout I suspect, so I'm less sure that will happen.

Such as what? They already end their government sessions with "death to America". What unfortunate fallout do you anticipate from non-Iranians attempting to destroy Iran's nuclear production capabilities?
