There is a common thread to all the chapters in this story, from Atta, to Plame, and to today.

The neocons so badly wanted the oil in Iraq that they ignored every fact that got in the way of their plans for attack. Plans that were put in place when they selected Bush as their candidate.

Atta and 9/11 were seen by them as opportunity, and not a problem.
