I don't recall any European progress on disarming Israel's Nukes. It was simply a bunch of carrots for Iran to stop making progress themselves. I'd rather see Pakistan & Israel lose their Nukes than Iran join the club. But assuming Pakistan & Israel don't lose their Nukes, I assume that Iran (and eventually S.A.) will acquire them.

In spite of how you prefer to wrap it up, the European leaders honestly seemed to believe they put together a very attractive and reasonable package in their offering to Iran. Of course they still expected some fine tuning and further negotiations before closing it, but this nevertheless is what they believed.

It was a true shock to them when it got turned down by Iran as way off anything acceptable. You should have read the newspapers over in Europe when that happened and you would know what I mean.
