You could rent a hospitality suite for a night at the Intercontinental or Royal York, get your booze at the train station or bring it along, and order out for pizza delivery. Pretty cheap night then, and if someone gets too tipsy you have a place to crash on a couch, carpet or bed.

Someone in Toronto could phone the Hotel directly Intercontinental: 416-597-1400,...Royal York: 416-368-2511 and investigate price but I think $400 would rent a room with hospitality suite capable of holding 20 or so. There are several options,...room with bedroom suite, room only, room with two bedroom suite, room with bar etc., etc.
