Yep, I posted Kevin Drum's take on this earlier. I gather you didn't read it. That is why I posted the article Drum was referring to. We now have two opposing stories on Able-Danger. I suspect that what was found out was stopped at the DOD level because they thought they couldn't give it to the FBI. The FBI is also famous for their "not invented here" syndrome. They would probably have refused to consider it before 911. The most major cause of failure on 911 was the FBI. Because it was an institutional failure, nobody their suffered the consequences. In fact, they all got raises and promotions as the FBI was expanded because of 911.
