Clinton's "Monica" problem allowed the director to laugh at him.

His problems with the FBI director, come on surely you remember his name, were in stone long before Monica. His problems, enhanced most than just a little bit by the irresponsibility of your buddies in Congress, certainly didn't help.

And ditto with the military. Those problems predated Monica by years and years. His election in 92.

So I don't buy the "Monica caused all the problems" arguments.
