Huh? What theories of evolution are you reading that do not cover the origins of life? If evolution contends we descended from amoebas, no sense in hiding your assumption where the amoebas came from. I don't buy the idea that we descended from fish or worms or monkeys. I'll accept the idea aliens dropped off a few people that they found as stowaways...
