Knighty Tin;
I just turned in my taxes and while I don't do them - it is absolutely insane and extremely wasteful to spend so much time playing the tax game. Who wins in this game? The rich who can afford to pay to find the incentives offered by the tax code. Meanwhile the working guy on a salary gets the shaft. What's fair about that?

While I am not going to defend Fox - as I think their reporting goes beyond biased and is dishonest - the idea of a sales tax is not evil. No sales tax on food and meds and the poor do okay - unless they go to WalMart and spend their paycheck on plastic shit from China. If the poor spend their money on cheap WalMart shit and cigarettes and booz - then they should have to pay tax. The advantages are real - and the VERY rich have to pay the tax on their boats and airplanes and second homes. I love it! But then Washington State does not have a state income tax!
