I heard that people who suffered brain damage that removed all emotion couldn't make decisions as nothing was important to them any more. I think there is a balance between over emotional and make bad decisions and under emotional and make none.

Most people do seem to be over confident and think they are a genius in various areas of life. I don't know why that is. "All the children are above average" :) I forget all the surveys of stuff where the majority think they are above average in this or that. I think I am somewhat realistic in some areas of life and in others I am underconfident I think...
