Steve on the FOOL on acetone

I wouldn't consider using acetone in my car. It's a solvent, which means it disolves things. I am not interested in testing the solubility of my EFI system in acetone. If the guy experimenting with the stuff spills some on his car, it will probably take the paint off.

Second, the guy's car probably runs smoother because acetone vaporizes very easily. When I was in high school, another guy in my chemistry lab was fooling around with some acetone and spread some on the lab table. The acetone completely evaporated in seconds. How much escapes into the atmosphere while the guy pours some into his tank?
