I think the bush twins are smarter than their dad and they know that if joined up they'd get killed for nothing even if daddy says it's a noble cause and it's worth it. They're no fools they know it's a waste of life. Or maybe they're cowards. Granpa put on a good show in WWII but they seem to get a bigger yeller streak with each generation.
