mean time it looks like that s.korea is siding with n.korea, perhaps to position for inheriting nuke capability when the eventual reunification happens

at the same time as mean time, japan will still have to finance that pipeline of dreams, to get it closer to china border, so that it can be tapped at lower cost to divert the flow southward

it is a complicated situation in that corner of the world, and a lot of moving pieces

all interesting to watch, and fascinating to ponder
